COVID-19 Vaccine PSAs

The idea for this COVID-19 vaccine campaign arose from members of the Mendocino Diversity, Equity, & Inclusion Taskforce that seeks to stamp out racism in all its forms in our county. These videos communicate the importance of vaccination, but the larger message is this: solidarity in diversity. It is hoped that the positive and empathetic manner in which they are presented, while highlighting the lived experiences of Indigenous and Latinx communities most affected by the pandemic, as well as their strength and resilience, moves our community members to action. The videos feature participants that are diverse in multiple ways, and include voices that are important but not always heard in Mendocino County. 

The campaign is presented by the Mendocino DEI COVID-19 Equity Workgroup, was produced by members of the community, and was sponsored by Mendocino County Public Health and Alliance for Rural Community Health. The fiscal sponsor of the project was Nuestra Alianza de Willits.
