Caring Kitchen teen and adult volunteers

Caring Kitchen and Leadership Mendocino are in search of teen volunteers and adult mentors for the volunteer opportunity Growing Our Own. Teens ages 14-18 will receive hands on training in the culinary arts and gardening while exploring various careers related to healthcare, nutrition, and the restaurant industry, complete skills assessments, and receive mentoring from professionals in various fields. Adult volunteers have the opportunity to work alongside the teens, give presentations, provide mentoring, and be a positive influence and role model.
